Kathleen Wetzel Apltauer is an independent evaluation consultant working with programs that focus on poverty, health and human development in international, low-income settings. Her special focus is reducing preventable child deaths, including those from diarrhoea, malaria and pneumonia. Kathleen also serves as an adjunct at NYU, teaching Monitoring Evaluation & Learning and Quantitate Research Methods at the Center for Global Affairs and International Capstone Advanced Projects and portions of International Economic Development at NYU-Wagner.
